I just started an Adak facebook group. Please feel free to join so you can upload your own stories and photos without my assistance. Please CC this blog if you can so I can keep it growing.
The group fame is NAVSTA Adak AK It is a closed group, so when you click the button to join, I'll need to approve you before you can get in. I check it regularly, so it shouldn't take long. That will keep out the spammers and help keep the group focused.

I was stationed NAS Adak Fire Station 1 from 12/71 to 12/72. Our barracks were in the Berring building above the Brig at the same end as the Marines. Later we were moved to Burchwood Barracks. The place was brand new and felt like the Hilton Hotel. If I had the money I would live on Adak Permanently. Lots of memories I have of that Island.
By the way....Where is the 'JOIN' button?
